FORT LAUDERDALE – Young Foster joined members of the South Florida community to support the premiere of Hidden In Plain Sight: Bonnet House, a South Florida PBS documentary celebrating the history, artistry, and ongoing efforts to preserve the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens in Fort Lauderdale.
The documentary offers an inside look at the 35-acre historic estate and the individuals whose vision shaped its legacy, including naturalist Hugh Taylor Birch and artists Frederic Clay Bartlett and Evelyn Fortune Bartlett. Through archival materials, interviews, and cinematography of the estate, the film explores Bonnet House’s distinctive blend of art, architecture, nature, and South Florida history.
The premiere welcomed members of the community to celebrate the documentary and the continued preservation of one of Fort Lauderdale’s most recognizable cultural landmarks. As one of the region’s few remaining early twentieth-century waterfront estates, Bonnet House is a key part of South Florida’s artistic, environmental, and cultural heritage.
Young Foster congratulates Bonnet House Museum & Gardens, South Florida PBS, and everyone involved in the production and premiere of Hidden In Plain Sight: Bonnet House.
